DIGITAL AND ON DEMAND FUTURE PROGRAMS
Wellness
programming that
reaches beyond the session
Strong after 50, a guided strength, balance, and mobility pathway for active longevity, is a future digital, on-demand program from Pure Health Culture, designed to make PHC's expertise accessible regardless of location.
THE CORE FINDING
Adoption isn't the problem.
Engagement is.
PHC's research identified a significant workplace wellness engagement gap. Programs may be available, but participation remains much lower.
68%
of employers offer wellness programs
32%
of employees actually use them
This gap is one of the key insights informing PHC's broader digital and website strategy, with an emphasis on sustained engagement rather than sign-ups alone.
DIGITAL AND ON DEMAND
Meeting people where they are
PHC's research shows that programs need to meet people where they are. Flexibility itself functions as a benefit, and friction in accessing wellness directly kills participation.
The Digital & On-Demand module is intended to support location-independent wellness delivery and will eventually house programs such as Strong after 50, extending PHC's expertise to people who may not be able to attend in-person sessions.
Digital Products are identified in PHC's business strategy as a long-term revenue pillar, including on-demand programs designed to extend PHC's wellness expertise beyond in-person delivery.

WHAT THE AUDIENCE RESEARCH SHOWS
Active adults want programs built with them, not for them
89%
Autonomy & Personalization
of current residents and 87% of future residents say wellness offerings should reflect their personal preferences.
78%
Cognitive Vitality
of current residents and 83% of future residents say mental fitness is essential to wellbeing.
65%
Technology, Welcomed
of current residents and 61% of future residents want technology integrated for wellbeing tracking, so long as it enhances independence rather than replacing human interaction.
The research also found that older adults value group discussion, active facilitation, practical strategies with autonomy and choice, and relatable content over passive information delivery. Both of PHC's audiences reject one-size-fits-all programming. They want choice, autonomy, and community.
